I recently stayed at De La Buffa in Nice for a short trip. The hotel offered surprisingly nice beds and pillows, and the room was very spacious with high ceilings. The showerspace was also roomy and the proprietor was kind. The location was great, with easy access to the Promenade, supermarket, cafes, bakeries, bus stops. The furnishings and construction were functional and the hot water pot in the room was a nice bonus. The wifi worked well, and the A/C kept the room cool and allowed for a peaceful night's sleep.

Location ok, near the beach and not too far from the railway station or the city centre. Fridge in the room was nice. The room was cleaned everyday.

Although it was said on the website that there is air-conditioning, it didn't work in our room (Air-conditioning was one of the main reasons why I chose this hotel). In addition to being very hot, our room was also very noicy; it seemed there was no sound insulation, and as our window was heading towards a crossroads, all the traffic sounds etc. could be heard very clearly! So, in case you want to relax and sleep during your holiday, do not choose this hotel! Although I did expect a 'budget hotel' based on the Booked.net website, it was all still a bit disappointing.

Excellent value-based hotel with personal service and clean rooms. All facilities worked well in the spacious rooms. Showing signs of age but has a quaint charm, hard to match in the area. An excellent location for all amenities in Nice. Recommended and will use again!

The hotel is located at a busy intersection which can be somewhat noisy at times. However, the hotel has adequate blinds, shutters and air-conditioning which adequately compensates.

loved staying here! close to supermarkets, sea, tram station. owner got me breakfast from nearby. clean bedsheets, comfy bed. great value for money. flexible check-in. spacious room. mini fridge was handy. overall, a great stay in Nice.

too expensive comparing to its facilities and standards. There are 10 minutes distance from the beach. I also found some hotels cheaper with good location in Nice, but I am not sure whether there is vacant room when you book it at present.

It's simple and basic. You get what you pay for, don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. It was fine for us, we wanted to see the city and spent as little time as possible in the hotel room.

We did see one small cockroach in the room (this was perhaps because we did keep some food on the table). The smell from the shower was also unpleasant.

Located just a block away from the seashore, Hotel De La Buffa is conveniently situated in the heart of the city center. With various restaurants and stores nearby, it offers easy access to everything you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable, equipped with a fridge and a TV. The staff is kind and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Limited facilities

Location is good (near the promenade) and comes at a decent price. Bus stop for Airport is also close by. Friendly old man at the reception.

No Lift, No English Channel on tv. Very average room but considering the prices for other Nice hotels, this is a ok budget hotel.

The welcome was friendly and the gentleman explained the locality well. The hotel was near to the beach about 2 min walk and the trainstation wasnt to far (10-15 min)

The bathroom (ensuite) was rather cosy to say the least but it did the job

I got excellent value for my money with a comfortable room and bed. The hotel's location was perfect, close to the beach, old town, and city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety and options.

Excellent hospitality. The owners would do anything to make you feel comfortable including providing beach towels and beach cushions (Nice has a pebbled beach) for a lovely day in the sun. Ideal location for budget travellers - 5 minutes walk to the main beach, 10 minutes walk to NICE Ville train station. Bathroom renovated and rooms clean with French charm. Would definitely stay again.

Would not be for anyone looking for luxury as is clean and standard accomodation ideal for up to 3/4 nights

Good location, quiet room, nice staff.

Tiny, tiny bathroom...and a pretty rough bed. The toilet also was a pain to use.

Convenient Amenities: The complimentary WiFi provided in the air-conditioned rooms was a lifesaver. It was as reliable as a trusty friend, allowing me to easily stay connected and share my amazing experiences with the world, all from the comfort of my cozy room.

Great location ,nice large clean room,rooms on the second floor have to climb one set of stairs

The hotel has a perfect location, its right behind the famous Negresco hotel. The room size is ok, better than in most french hotels. The room is cozy and nice, feels pretty much like home.

The bathroom is extremely small, you literally are not able to take a shower without knocking your forehead at the wall. The street is nosy, couldn't sleep with an open window.
